1050 aluminum sheet belong to pure aluminum sheet series, and the aluminum content must reach 99.5% or more to be a qualified product. Because it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is the most commonly used series in conventional industries. Industrial pure aluminum has the characteristics of high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, but low strength. It is not strengthened by heat treatment and has poor machinability. It can accept contact welding and gas welding.

In April 2026, South Korea’s aluminum imports from Russia surged to $136.5 million, jumping 21.5% month-on-month and hitting an all-time high since 2000. Russia overtook Australia and India to become South Korea’s top aluminum supplier. Driven by lower prices, stable supply, and Middle East shipping disruptions, Korean buyers prioritized cost over politics. The surge underscores a broader shift: Russia’s pivot to Asian markets and growing pragmatism in global trade, reshaping supply chains amid
