6063 aluminum tube has a closed through-hole, which is extruded into a wall thickness, uniform cross-section, and straight shape through a mold, with a length of generally within 6 meters. Widely used in industries such as automobiles, ships, aerospace, aviation, electrical appliances, agriculture, mechatronics, and home furnishings.
6063 Aluminum tubes are mainly divided into the following types
Divided by appearance: square tube, round tube, patterned tube, irregular tube, and universal aluminum tube.
Divided by extrusion method: seamless aluminum tube and ordinary extruded tube
Classified by precision: ordinary aluminum tubes and precision aluminum tubes, among which precision aluminum tubes generally require further processing after extrusion, such as cold drawing, precision drawing, and rolling
Divided by thickness: ordinary aluminum tube and thin-walled aluminum tube
Performance: Corrosion resistant, lightweight.
The characteristic is a high-strength hard aluminum that can be strengthened by heat treatment. It has moderate plasticity in annealing, quenching, and hot state, and good spot welding performance. When using gas welding and argon arc welding, the aluminum tube tends to form intergranular cracks; Aluminum tubes have good machinability after quenching and cold work hardening, but poor machinability in the annealed state. The corrosion resistance is not high, and anodizing treatment and painting methods or surface coating with aluminum layer are often used to improve the corrosion resistance. It can also be used as a mold material.
One advantage is welding technology: the thin-walled copper aluminum tube welding technology suitable for industrial production is known as a world-class problem and is a key technology for replacing copper with aluminum in air conditioner connecting tubes.
The second advantage is the service life: from the perspective of the inner wall of the aluminum tube, due to the absence of moisture in the refrigerant, the inner wall of the copper aluminum connecting tube will not experience corrosion.
